Efficiency, flexibility and future-proofing
Energy self-sufficiency is increasingly becoming a strategic advantage for industrial and commercial enterprises: rising energy costs, volatile markets and growing demands for climate protection require new supply concepts. Our modular complete system enables the decentralized generation, storage and use of green hydrogen directly on site. This allows companies to reduce their dependence on external suppliers, secure stable energy costs in the long term and create a resilient infrastructure for their own operations. Thanks to the flexible scalability, the degree of self-sufficiency can be gradually increased – right up to almost complete self-sufficiency with clean energy.

Concept idea
Decarbonization of production through own H₂ generation
A modern cardboard mill uses a complete H₂ system with a 75 kW electrolyser for energy supply and process optimization. Green hydrogen is generated on site and used to provide process heat, for example as a substitute for fossil fuels in the drying process. The CO₂ balance of the end product is improved, while energy costs are reduced. The company is positioning itself as a pioneer for green packaging.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about hydrogen
Hydrogen offers companies a path to greater independence, efficiency and climate protection. In this FAQ, we answer key questions about the use of modular complete hydrogen systems for industrial and commercial enterprises.
What is a complete hydrogen system?
A modular complete hydrogen system consists of several coordinated components for the production, storage and use of green hydrogen directly on site. It typically comprises an electrolyzer for hydrogen production, a pressure storage tank and a fuel cell or another utilization unit, e.g. for heat or process energy supply.
How can the system contribute to energy self-sufficiency?
By combining this with its own PV or wind power plant, a company can generate a large part of its energy requirements itself, store it in the form of hydrogen and use it as required. This not only allows peak loads to be absorbed, but also stabilizes energy prices in the long term and reduces grid dependency.
Is integration into existing processes possible?
Yes, the system is designed in such a way that it can be flexibly integrated into existing energy infrastructures. It can be used to supply electricity as well as process heat, compressed air or chemical hydrogen – depending on requirements and technical design.
What sizes of business make economic sense?
Even smaller commercial enterprises with correspondingly large PV systems – such as those in the manufacturing or food industry – can benefit economically. Their use is particularly efficient when there is a continuous demand for energy and when existing PV systems can be used or expanded.
What subsidies can I take advantage of?
In Germany and many EU countries, there are extensive funding programs at federal and state level, e.g. via KfW, BAFA or specific hydrogen strategies of the federal states. The subsidies can include investment grants, subsidized loans or tax benefits – depending on the industry, location and scope of the project
How safe is it to handle hydrogen during operation?
Modern hydrogen systems work with highly developed sensor technology, pressure control, gas detection and automatic shutdown in the event of deviations. All components comply with the relevant industrial and explosion protection standards (e.g. ATEX, DIN EN ISO) and are designed so that they can be operated reliably even in sensitive operating environments.
Can I expand the system if my energy requirements increase?
Yes, that is a key advantage of the modular design: components such as the electrolyser capacity, the storage unit or the utilization units can be easily expanded in the event of increasing energy requirements or surplus energy, e.g. from photovoltaic systems. This means that the system remains adaptable in the long term and offers a high level of investment security.
